The University of Glasgow awards Postgraduate Talent Scholarships each academic year to support students who could face financial difficulties in taking up their place to study at the University. The value of each scholarship is £2,000 and they are for students undertaking a one or two year Taught Masters programme, in any of the University’s Colleges. For two year Taught Masters programmes, the scholarship is available in year one only.
To be eligible applicants must
intend to commence a full-time postgraduate Taught Masters programme in September 2022.
not previously have undertaken postgraduate study.
provide evidence of excellent academic achievement in their undergraduate studies (i.e. 2:1 degree classification, or above).
be ordinarily resident in Scotland for 3 years prior to the start of their programme for a purpose other than studying and be classified as a ‘Home’ student for fee purposes. provide evidence that their circumstances are such that they may find it difficult to take up a place at the University for financial or other reasons.

Scholarship applications for September 2022 entry will open in March.
