Small class sizes (average 16.4) and regular one-to-one tutorial meetings also benefit the long term management of students. Arange of scholarship opportunities for the most able and committed students is also available.

Services for International Students

Arriving international students are given a full induction programme to help settle in and meet new teachers and friends. English language classes are included in all study options and can be tailored to specific exams, like IELTS or TOEFL. Students are assigned a personal tutor who can offer individual advice and support, as well as a progress manager to monitor achievement during studies. At the appropriate time, all students are offered university and careers guidance.

Brockenhurst students achieve consistently high results, with a 99 per cent pass rate meaning it is one of the best ranked colleges in the country. In 2013, 50 per cent of students received A*-B grades and 75% achieved A*-C grades. In the same year, eight students progressed on to Oxford or Cambridge and 26 per cent went to Russell Group universities, with more heading to specialist institutions like Central Saint Martin’s University and the London School of Fashion.

Accommodation

The college does not have any on-site accommodation, but does offer an option to allow international students to take part in a homestay with local families. This allows students to improve both language fluency and immersion in British culture.

Location

Brockenhurst is located within the New Forest National Park in the south of England. The New Forest is more than 900 years old and consists of woods and heathland where ponies and cattle roam freely. Nearby is the seaside town of Bournemouth, which boasts long sandy beaches, good shopping and a lively nightlife and youth culture. Larger cities like London and Oxford are only 90 minutes away, despite the college’s peaceful setting.

Breckett Front   I believe my success is due to the great support provided by SI-UK. I was advised the right IELTS courses to attend and they also helped with my visa application. I really want to share with you my positive experience and I would definitely recommend SI-UK to my friends.  Breckett Front
