Foundation Years at Keele University

4 March 2022

Keele University offers a range of courses within our three faculties:

  • Medicine and Health Sciences
  • Natural Sciences
  • Humanities and Social Sciences

All the undergraduate courses offer a Foundation pathway, with the exception of Medicine, and there is a choice between a January or September start. Keele offers the following Foundation courses:

  • International Foundation Year: a 1-year standalone programme in Science, Humanities, Social Sciences and Business. Students will need to apply for another visa at the end of the Foundation Year to continue with degree studies.
  • International Foundation Year (Integrated): a 4, 5 or 6-year degree programme in Science, Humanities, Social Sciences and Business. One visa will cover the full duration of the course so there is no need to apply for a second visa at the end of the Foundation Year.
  • Health Foundation Year (Integrated): a 4, 5 or 6-year degree programme in all Health subjects except Medicine. One visa will cover the full duration of the course so there is no need to apply for a second visa at the end of the Foundation Year.

Through Keele’s recent partnership with Navitas, a new Keele University International College (KUIC) will be set up on campus to deliver additional Foundation Year, International Year One and Pre-Masters programmes from September 2022.

I believe my success is due to the great support provided by SI-UK. I was advised the right IELTS courses to attend and they also helped with my visa application. I really want to share with you my positive experience and I would definitely recommend SI-UK to my friends.
