Overview

The London School of Beauty & Make-up was founded in 1995 and is the largest private school in the UK to be devoted to beauty therapy and high fashion make-up tuition. There is an emphasis on practical tuition, with students working closely with the industry both in teaching and through work placements with photographers and at London Fashion Week.

The school offers internationally recognised qualifications in many areas, including one of the UK’s first NVQ qualifications in laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation. The school’s numerous partnerships with fashion and make-up brands mean that students and teachers can work with high quality and industry standard tools and product. They are also useful when students come to finding a career, offering contacts and recognition to give alumni an advantage.

Accommodation

The London School of Beauty & Make-up has a number of accommodation partners with housing options nearby. These cover a range of budgets and options. The school can also recommend places to find student housing if preferred.

Location

The school is located in central London, close to St Paul’s Cathedral and Holborn. This location makes seeing the rest of London, the UK or Europe incredibly convenient thanks to strong transport links. London itself is an impressive metropolis with a large number of parks. It has something for everyone, from upmarket shopping and nightclubs to small cafes and museums. It is also known as one of most important cities for fashion worldwide.

Breckett Front   I believe my success is due to the great support provided by SI-UK. I was advised the right IELTS courses to attend and they also helped with my visa application. I really want to share with you my positive experience and I would definitely recommend SI-UK to my friends.  Breckett Front
